The Uncluttered Life® Organizing Team
Meet the Expert Organizers
Credentials and Expertise
The Uncluttered Life, Inc. is distinguished by its expertise, credentials, and unique approach to home organization.
Our co-founder, Cathy, holds the prestigious Certified Master Consultant designation in Marie Kondo’s KonMari Method®—a recognition earned by fewer than 100 professional organizers worldwide, and only 50 within the United States. Attaining this title requires more than 1,500 hours of professional organizing experience, and Cathy has well exceeded that benchmark. She has also represented the KonMari community internationally, serving as a panelist at the KonMari Consultant Training in 2020.
Our co-founder, Danica, brings a visual perspective that blends artistry with organization. A UC Berkeley graduate with a multi-disciplinary degree in design, semiotics, media, and communications, she combines thoughtful design principles with practical functionality. Her years of experience in home styling enhance every space, making them both visually appealing and deeply functional.
The Uncluttered Life’s expertise has been recognized nationally by Architectural Digest, Real Simple, The Spruce, Better Homes & Gardens, and Martha Stewart, among others.
The Uncluttered Life merges proven organizing methods with a stylized approach, helping clients create spaces that reflect their lifestyle, support their goals, and promote lasting peace of mind.
DANICA’S PHILOSOPHY
Co-founder and Creator of Declutter Deck®
As a mom to a young little boy, I truly understand how hard it is to balance home organization with the everyday demands of parenting. Between caring for kids, managing work, keeping up with laundry, preparing meals, and picking up endless toys, there never seem to be enough hours in the day. I see so many friends facing the same challenge—wanting a home that feels calm and pulled together, yet still realistic for real family life.
With a strong design background, I believe an organized space should be just as beautiful as it is functional. I use principles of balance, proportion, and flow to create interiors that feel inspiring while working seamlessly for everyday life. Every storage solution is chosen with intention—supporting daily routines while elevating the overall aesthetic. By blending design with organization, I help clients create spaces that work efficiently, reflect their personal style, and reduce visual noise.
Why I Created Declutter Decks®
I created Declutter Decks® because I saw firsthand how overwhelmed people—especially busy families—feel in their own homes. So many want less clutter and more calm but don’t know where to start or how to stay consistent. Declutter Decks® break the process into simple, manageable steps, making it easier to declutter and organize without stress or burnout.
Small prompts. Real progress. Lasting calm.

CATHY’S PHILOSOPHY
Master Level Organizer in the KonMari Method®
I am a Certified Master Consultant in the KonMari Method®. Well versed in her method, I draw inspiration from Marie Kondo’s bestselling books while integrating her core principles into my own practice. I completed my KonMari training in Los Angeles in 2019 and later served as a panelist for KonMari’s 2020 International Certification Course.
While I’m proud to hold the title of Certified Master Consultant, I see it as just one part of a holistic approach to decluttering and home organization. To me, organization is more than creating order — it’s about simplifying life, reducing waste, and saving time and money through thoughtful, sustainable systems. When your home is well organized, you can quickly find what you need, avoid unnecessary purchases, and spend less time managing clutter. Effective organization eliminates duplication, reduces stress, and creates efficiency in daily routines — giving you back valuable time and energy for things that matter most.
With over twenty years of hands-on experience organizing homes of many types, I’ve seen it all — and I approach every project with empathy and compassion. So please don’t hesitate or feel embarrassed to reach out — there’s absolutely no judgment here, only support and solutions.
